Who we are

Serenbria (serenbria.com) is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: mail@serenbria.com.

The newsletter

If you subscribe, we keep your email address so we can send you the Friday newsletter. Our newsletter provider, Buttondown, stores it and sends the emails for us, and records whether emails are opened or links clicked so we can see what is useful. We rely on your consent; every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all emails. We never sell or share your address with advertisers or sponsors.

This website

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It stores one small flag in your browser for the length of a visit, so the opening animation plays only once. Like every website, our host (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, doesn't track you across sites and doesn't identify you: it tells us how many people read a page, not who they are.

Emails you send us

If you write to us, we keep your message and address to reply and, for tips and corrections, to follow the story up. We delete them when they're no longer needed.

Social platforms

When you watch or interact with our stories on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or LinkedIn, those platforms' own privacy policies apply. We only see the aggregate statistics they show to every account.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by writing to mail@serenbria.com. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
